VOLUNTEERING

Here at St Stephen’s, none of our weekly services, our work with children and young people, outreach, pastoral care, cafes or chaplaincy to local care homes would be possible without our incredible volunteers. And in addition to making a real difference to others, our volunteers often find that being part of a team helps them build long-lasting friendships.

So here are some of the volunteering opportunities available now. Please get in touch if you’re interested.

Community Larder

We’ve partnered with FEAST Fresh to run a Community Larder every Saturday between 10.30am and 12.30pm. This is now located within St Stephen’s Church. This provides various items of fresh food to people who are on a low income and are finding the cost of weekly shopping expensive. Following the latest Covid-19 announcements, this is currently running as a click and collect service only.
