CONNECTING DURING COVID
On a normal week St Stephen’s would be bustling with multiple services, our café, youth and children’s events, and much more. So what’s happing now?
Now that all our buildings and regular activities are closed, you may be wondering how you can connect with us. Here are nine (yes, nine) ways…
This is fast becoming one of our favourite times of the week! As our online service finishes (approx. 11.15am) we all head to Zoom to catch up with each other. This is for our church family only, and we send the link out every Friday, but if you aren’t receiving yours please get in contact with us
(details at the bottom of this page).
YOUTH ON ZOOM
Our young people are continuing to meet throughout this lock-down period, albeit in a different way from usual. Every Tuesday and Friday evening they are on Zoom, where they play silly games (guess who’s baby picture and I-spy have been particular favourites so far!), share how they’re getting on and pray for one another.
POST ON OUR PRAYER WALL
We love to pray, and if there is something you would like us to pray for you, why not post something on online our Prayer Wall. Anything you post won’t go online immediately as it goes to one of our pastoral team first. But please do post, and pray (and click Pray) for others.
WELCOME COFFEE ON ZOOM
Since the start of lockdown we’ve had loads of new people joining us for online services, our daily reflections, etc. So if you are new to St Stephen’s and would like to meet us, we’re regularly hosting a Welcome Coffee on Zoom for anyone who is new. Some of our team will be there so you can get to know them, and find out more about the church. Our next Welcome Coffee is at 2.30pm on Sunday 17th May. You will need to register in advance for this; to register please visit our event page.
So please do join us where you feel able. And if you want some support or want someone to talk to, please get in contact (details at the bottom of this page).
