CONNECTING DURING COVID
On a normal week St Stephen’s would be bustling with multiple services, our café, youth and children’s events, and much more. So what’s happing now?
Now that all our buildings and regular activities are closed, you may be wondering how you can connect with us. Here are nine (yes, nine) ways…
This is fast becoming one of our favourite times of the week! As our online service finishes (approx. 11.15am) we all head to Zoom to catch up with each other. This is for our church family only, and we send the link out every Friday, but if you aren’t receiving yours please get in contact with us
(details at the bottom of this page).
YOUTH ON ZOOM
Our young people are continuing to meet throughout this lock-down period, albeit in a different way from usual. Every Tuesday and Friday evening they are on Zoom, where they play silly games (guess who’s baby picture and I-spy have been particular favourites so far!), share how they’re getting on and pray for one another.
POST ON OUR PRAYER WALL
We love to pray, and if there is something you would like us to pray for you, why not post something on online our Prayer Wall. Anything you post won’t go online immediately as it goes to one of our pastoral team first. But please do post, and pray (and click Pray) for others.
WEEKLY ZOOM PRAYERS
Every week we’re hosting an online prayer meeting on Zoom. These 30 minute sessions will be on Tuesday mornings at 10am. Prayer is simply having a conversation with God; we’ll start with a verse of scripture and praise, then pray through one subject to another, before listening to what God may wish to share with us. The link for this goes out to our church family in our weekly email each Friday.
So please do join us where you feel able. And if you want some support or want someone to talk to, please get in contact (details at the bottom of this page).
