SERVICES

Our services

We’d love to welcome you at one of our services soon.

For your information, we no longer ask you to wear a face mask during our services (although you are obviously welcome to continue to do so if you prefer). We also no longer have our socially distanced seating area; if you need a socially distanced seat please contact the church office so we can make arrangements.

10.30am services

Our morning service takes place at 10.30am each Sunday and we’re really informal. These services include songs, prayer, a Bible reading and teaching. As we have lots of families, many of these services also have youth and children’s groups running at the same time (see info below). If you don’t need to rush away, after the service you are really welcome to stay for coffee.

Our youth & children’s groups//

Since leaving lockdowns, we don’t yet have enough volunteers to run all our youth and children’s group every week. Consequently, this term our Older Elements group (years 10 – 13) will run every Sunday. All our other youth and children’s groups will be running on the following dates:

24th April
1st, 15th, 22nd May
12th, 19th June
3rd, 10th, 17th July

For more information on our Youth and Children’s groups, please visit our kids page.

Livestream//

We understand that not everyone can make it to one of our in-person services. If you cannot visit us in person but you want to worship with us, we livestream the service via our YouTube channel where you can also catch up with previous services.

Other Sunday services

Our 10.30am service (above) takes place every week, but we also have other Sunday services that happen each month.

9.30am service St Eanswythe’s Mission (58 Priory Road)

We run a more traditional service fortnightly at St Eanswythe’s Mission, starting at 9.30am (these are usually on the first and third Sunday of each month, but please check our calendar for dates).

6pm ‘Plugged In’ service at St Stephen’s

Once a month St Stephen’s is transformed for our ‘Plugged In’ service. This is aimed at young adults (loosely defined as being from older teens up to those in their 30s) although we don’t turn anyone away, so whatever your age, you’re really welcome. It includes food, worship, guest interviews, Bible teaching, discussion and ministry.

‘Plugged In’ is usually on the second Sunday of each month, but please visit our Plugged In page or check our calendar for dates.
