During summer our 10.30am services will continue, but with a few differences. Services will be shorter and family-friendly; we will be serving coffee afterwards and, whenever possible, there will be some garden games for the children. As we have missed meeting together in person for so much of the last year, during August we are planning to serve breakfast before our services to allow us to spend more time with one another

Our services

We’re going to be studying the ‘Parables of the Kingdom’ at a shortened 10.30am service each week. We will continue to livestream our services via our YouTube channel.

During August, breakfast will be served from 9.30am until 10.20am every Sunday (except for 15th August) – a selection of pastries, yoghurts, fruit, tea, coffee and juice before the morning service.

We won’t be running any youth or children’s groups during our summer services. However, as we have mentioned, we’re planning for the sermons to be shorter so they are more accessible to all ages. In addition, we will have some activities available for children during services.

After-service tea / coffee & garden games

After our services, we will be serving tea, coffee and squash in the church garden. Whenever possible, we will also have some garden games for the young and young at heart to enjoy.

Summer picnic – Sunday 15th August

Date for your diary: our Summer Picnic on 15th August. This will be held in the park and further details will follow nearer the time. On the day of the picnic we will have a simple service in church for anyone who is unable to join us in the park.
