In addition to our Living Well Tonbridge community hub, we also support local charity, High Hopes in their work with children and schools in our town and beyond.

Mission Focus – High Hopes, Tonbridge

High Hopes (The Tonbridge Children’s Workshop) work with schools, churches, national networks and charities to share the gospel with local children. The charity brings assemblies, workshops, education days and extra curricular clubs to over 35 primary schools in the area. More recently, they have been providing material online with their WELLGOOD YouTube video series. This looks at health and well being from a child’s point of view.

How we support High Hopes

As well as supporting High Hopes financially, and through prayer and partnership, we have also helped in practical ways e.g. offering the church building as a place to film for the video series.

What our support means

Practically, it helps High Hopes to cover costs and maintain its ministry initiatives, leaving the team more time to spend on compiling and producing resources for schools. The High Hopes team also tell us that it is heartening to know they have our ongoing support:

Latest news

High Hopes spent recent months producing their WELLGOOD video series in the kitchen area at St Stephen’s and they are currently planning their next series for this year. Offline, they headed back into schools with their Love & Community assembly each week. Workshops for local schools have also proved a great success.
